Guh...work...

So work is kicking my ass again. But on a different level this time.

The week they hired me, they gave me 22 hours. I was like "oh, awesome. But I'm not going to expect this every week." The manager told me I could expect to get at least fifteen hours each week but not to keep relying on getting 20-22. Though that's what I've been getting recently ( Read more... )

Thankies! :D

I have no idea how old the new girl is, but I'm hoping she's in college and has classes. That way I have another college age person to talk to, and she doesn't have as good of availability as me. ^^

Oh my God, I totally understand the hours thing. They just had to trim hours down, and they changed up my schedule because they felt I was too important to cut down at my day job.

I hate dress codes. If there's any thrift stores or Goodwill stores near you, check them out for polo shirts and...*cringe* khakis. Unless corporate are complete fucktards and insist on brand new...which yeah; you better save those receipts.

I hate khakis.

Anyway, LOL at your proposed FAQ. Having once worked in retail, I got a real kick. It's always funny when people who obviously can't read get all flustered when they try to enter the store after it's closed.

And hey; 'sup fellow former Quiznos employee. Yup, I used to work for them too.

I don't mind khakis. I've never worn or owned a polo (except the standard issued ones for other jobs) in my entire life, so it's kind of depressing to have to buy them now. DX

And ooooh, Quiznos. I have a love-hate relationship with Quiznos. I hated working there, I loved the food. After a couple years of not working there I wouldn't mind going back, but...

You and zip-chan are both welcome to room with me AWA! I only have three people in my room so far. If we have 8 people it's only $50/head at the Waverly.

Thanks for the offer! We have our own room this year, actually. The problem isn't the money for that so much, it's in the fact that we have a crap-ton of people wanting to stay with us and only so much floor space.

One of these cons I will share a room with you, I swear. xDD
