Here's where the word "friend" becomes problematical. I don't know jordan179 and I'm not sure how he[*] found my LJ. A glance at his LJ shows him to be the worst kind of knee-jerk political conservative, brutally black-and-white in his commentary on everything. On LJ I don't friend people I haven't met in person; after reading his LJ, I wouldn't even if I had.

[*] His name and email address pop up most commonly on Google with the masculine pronoun, and his membership of LJ communities called chubbychicks and curvygirls2 isn't really proof one way or the other.
