Aang was good with the angst.

WHERE IS IROH? (As a matter of fact, Ty Lee was absent as well--could she be keeping guard of/entertaining him?)

I liked the Daddy+Katara conflict.

OZAI!

Yuuue. :D (Anytime they can randomly get her a cameo, however cheesy, is good for me.)

It actually kinda saddens me that I was so happy about the new canon that I didn't actually realize that Iroh wasn't there until I came down off the high and was all like, "Heeeey, wait a minute!" Although I don't think I'm ready to see him locked up in some prison somewhere, which is inevitably where he is. *sad panda face*

Bleah... Maiko does nothing for me either (I'm not for breaking up Ozai's Angels). It might have been better if there was some development to it... And the comment she made to Zuko kinda... Made me think that the writers were trying to backpedel really quickly, "YES, THEY'RE DATING, BUT MAI'S STILL MEAN, REALLY!!" If it keeps up like this (and I hope it doesn't), they'll probably gradually soften her up.

OMG YES!!! Yue is made of win. She needs to be back. :D

And I know about Iroh!! My friend and I were freaking about it so much, that it wasn't until after I'd gone home that I realized that he wasn't there, and I was very sad...

I hope it doesn't either... Maiko needs to end. Like, now. And I don't want to break up Ozai's Angels either!!

I agree for the most part, save for perhaps Katara: I thought her daddy issues and the reconciliation were poorly placed and very choppy. Still, if it gets it out of the way so we don't have to deal with it later...

I did like seeing Roku and Yue, esp. since Roku will play a bigger role this season and Yue well...she should, logically speaking. I mean, when the moon covers the sun...I've always been hoping she'd show up around the times of the solstice to see Sokka again, since the barrier between the living and spirit world is weakest then.

Concerning Maiko, the premiere only reinforces what I figured was going on: we're not seeing a whole lot of the Maiko so that we don't get too attached when they send it down the crapper. Why else would they put their getting together in a magazine that you don't even have to buy to watch the show? Unless the comics are referenced to by the show, they seem to be more or less filler.

Well, we certainly won't have to deal with Katara's daddy issues anymore since they're not meeting up again until the end of the season probably. Which kind of makes me sad, I like Hakoda, he's really cool, but...

And I'm SO glad there's going to be more Roku. He is very awesome and stuff. And I hadn't thought of all that about Yue, but now that you bring it up, that's really good! I can't wait to see her again too, and they need to have a scene with her and Sokka again, because that is just made of awesome.

And that's an awesome theory about Maiko... may I use it? Because again, now that you mention it, it's so obvious.

Hakoda seemed like an ok guy to me, and it was great that Aang has finally met his father-in-law him.

ROKU = YES. YUE = MOAR PLZ. You have no clue how much I have wanted Sokka to have a solstice baby with her. XD I mean, I like Suki, but they just haven't convinced me that Sokka loves her like he did Yue.

Though I do find it strange that both Yue and Suki phonetically mean 'Moon'. Yue (Chinese)/(T)suki (Japanese)

As for Maiko, that's the popular theory, though not originally mine. It certainly makes the most sense. I've heard Gamb try to say that Maiko will be explained 'in media res'--but if that were the case, it seems more likely that they would have done like they did with the Gaang and said as much in the first episode of S3. They did go back and touch briefly on what went down with Azula and her group, (hence Li and Lo), but not much more detail than that. I doubt highly that they're going to devote much time to a relationship that they're eventually going to break up. *shrug*

Yes, tis a very good thing that Aang met his father in law him. He should know who the grandfather of his children Sokka and Katara's father is. XD

I so know what you mean about Sokka/Suki. I think he likes her because she's the first girl his age he ever meets, and while she is really awesome and pretty and stuff, I think he was more genuinely attracted to Yue. But the fact that they both mean "moon"... that's pretty cool. Maybe it's the whole moon aspect of them that makes him love them? I don't know...

And it's still a good Maiko theory, no matter whose it is. :D

- Aangst??? Why do I like this phrase so much?
- I agree about Azula. That whole family is too pretty.

It really is an awesome phrase. Aangst. It's very awesome. :D

And I need to steal some of their pretty-ness. They seriously need to share the pretty around... XD

Hi, Jasmine from the friending meme. *waves*

Oh, thank you for not bashing the Katara-Hadoka scene. I personally loved it.

And the Maiko kiss was like, "WHUT?!".

I agree with a lot of your points!

The long cycle gets vivious when your homework starts falling by the wayside in favor of the shows. ;P

Hi Jasmine from the friending meme! *waves back* XD

And of course I didn't bash the Katara-Hakoda scene. It was a little corny and stuff, but it was also very sweet, and beautifully acted and all.

I'm stealing this theory from someone else, but I think that they're making Maiko quick, and they're putting most of them getting together in the mag so we don't have time to get attatched before they break them up. Because there's no way they're keeping it, they're just both far too emo for each other.

And as for the vicious cycle only getting vicious when homework falls by the wayside... um... oops? *shifty grin* ;p

I thought it was lovely. It is just that I have seen quite a few persons attack Katara for that seen. Figure it's mostly Katara haters, but still, no need tobe so mean.

Agreed on that Maiko theory.

And as for the vicious cycle only getting vicious when homework falls by the wayside... um... oops? *shifty grin* ;p

Oh, honey, I have a test tomorrow in Concepts of Pro. Nursing, and what am I doing? Watching and squeeing over Heroes and discussin Maiko theories.

Probably, but I still liked it. XD

OMG HEROES!!! And yeah... I had two papers to write last night, I had to take notes on an American History book, and I just had general homework besides that, but I did the same things. Wow... TV really rules my life. Which is what makes it awesome. XD
