Oh, hello there, lunar eclipse. Darkest night in about 500 years, 'sup?

Have you ever been woken up by your alarm clock (because that is the worst way to be woken up), and not wanted to get out of bed because you just knew that that day was going to be a bad day?

Yeah, that was me today.

The bad spot in an otherwise "...okay" day was going to the dentist's/orthodontist's for a regular checkup, getting regular x-rays ( Read more... )

I disagree; when you set your alarm clock, you know what time you're supposed to wake up, so you have an idea of how much sleep you're supposed to get. The worst way to be woken up is by someone else making LOUD NOISES just a few minutes before you're supposed to wake up. Just a few minutes so that it's too early to start getting ready for the day but not enough time to go back to sleep. Oh, or when your own body commits mutiny and makes you go to the bathroom like five minutes before your alarm. Bitch, you couldn't have waited five minutes?! That, compiled with a day you know is going to be bad, is the worst.

...I just noticed you have a "bx science" tag. I'll be snooping around your journal later, lol.

This is all true, but those are more annoying things to wake up to. I mean as an actual kick that wakes you up, I think than an alarm clock is the most obnoxious. Having people talk is annoying, but it doesn't hurt your brain, and having to pee just then is obnoxious, but the actual sensation of needing to do so isn't all that painful. At least in my opinion, an alarm clock is the most annoying kick out there. :/

And are you sure you want to do that? It's mostly me bitching about how obnoxious some of the people there can be. XD

"it doesn't hurt your brain"

All right. What about rocks being chucked at your window? Because that happened to me once. ಠ_ಠ

Hmm... I definately take your point there. I guess those are two different types of brain hurt then? I mean, an alarm clock wouldn't be as annoying as that... but it's very persistent, and right in your ear.

Haha, the only reason I thought of it was because I was exactly where you are now right after the last lunar eclipse. We all get our turn, don't worry~

Yeah, I know it could be a lot worse and all. I've had teeth out before and everything as well. I just... ugh. It could be worse, but it could be better too, you know?
