My friends and I kind of are obsessed with that show. So many quotable lines, my god<3

LOVE YOU TOO, JUST FOR THE RECORD.

IT'S LIKE SOME AWFUL CROSSOVER BETWEEN A SOAP OPERA AND FRIENDS. COMPLETE WITH JANICE. arthoniel November 4 2010, 03:22:09 UTC
For quotable lines, I have Friends. And the character with the obnoxious voice isn't the main character in that one. B|

AND THAT'S STILL MY FAVORITE LINE EVER. JUST SAYIN'.

And that's why you should come visit Brandeis!! Even if you don't actually want to apply... pretend that you do so you can come up and visit. :D

BUT THEY BREAK THE FOURTH WALL AND /EVERYTHING/ paru_na November 4 2010, 03:52:03 UTC
I never was into Friends. Like, at all, so I guess we're even. And Fran Drescher is amazing. She makes fun of herself in the show because of her voice, like SO:

<3

And I don't think that's gonna happen. XD FAVORITE LINE OR NOT IT"LL PROLLY HAPPEN DURING SOME SORT OF VACATION/BREAK. WE MUST START PLANNING.

Yeah, well, so did my Intro to Theater presentation today. That doesn't make it /good/. :| arthoniel November 4 2010, 04:04:26 UTC
I... honestly, I just didn't find that all that funny. I saw a woman being tortured because she's stupid, and then she talked like a normal person for two seconds before becoming obnoxious again. I just... don't care for it.

BUT YES. PLANNING. IT MUST HAPPEN. I'll be in New York over Thanksgiving weekend, but that's only a weekend... and then after that, nothing until after finals for this semseter, so halfway through December. But once my winter break starts, I'm home for a month. So. :D

Hehehe I'm afraid I must also push you furthur into Nanny isolation as I too love that show ^^ <3 Yes it's a cliche` romantic comedy sitcom, but I love it and Fran Dreischer.

But I'm happy you were abe to show Death Note to your friend. What a cool series it is!

Well. To each their own, I suppose... I just don't care for it myself. In complete fairness, I haven't seen a ton of it. But... I've just seen better sitcoms, where the main character's voice didn't make me want to pop a bullet through my skull. But to each their own.

But YES THIS. I'm so happy too. I haven't actually rewatched the series in a while too, so I'll get to do so with her, and it'll be ~*awesome*~. XD

OMG I REMEMBER WATCHING THE NANNY WHEN I WAS A LITTLE KID!!! Now I feel dead and buried. :|

I guess you have to be part of my age group to fully appreciate and adore it. /sighs sadly Those were good days, too...

Oh, I wouldn't say that. I mean, it's not like I wasn't around when it was first on or anything. I just... don't care for it.

...In all fairness, it may also just be how my roommates watch either that or some crappy MTV reality show. Every night. For hours on end. That is, when they're not going out to a party. So it may just be an overload for me.

Oh, I remember The Nanny. I never hated it or anything, but I agree, it's not that great. I can't imagine watching it every night or even voluntarily turning it on over doing other things. My mom and sister do that, though, they watch all these stupid shows nearly every single night on TV, like The Nanny, The Golden Girls, and Everybody Loves Raymond. I don't understand the appeal of sitcoms.

Yeah, exactly. The only difference for me is that, when they're really good, I love sitcoms. Something like 30 Rock or Friends... I mean, I own the DVDs to both of those. But... it needs to be really clever and smart... because when it's not, it's just stupid. And being hit over the head with it just makes it even worse. :/

Th-That was a bit... disturbing, not gonna lie. I mean, I dislike the show, but it's not like I want her to die or anything...
