So, Hetalia Day was today... in New York.

For obvious reasons, I wasn't there.

I'm so glad all of you who went had an amazing time!! I keep seeing the statuses on Facebook, the posts on here, and it sounds like it was wonderful, and I'm so happy for you!

slkdfjdl Thank you, hon. And yeah, I'm at school... if I hadn't been, you would have known my prescence. But I really wish I could've been there... the only reason I missed it is because I'm poor, and couldn't afford the $30 to travel between New York and Boston again. Otherwise I totally would have been there... I mean, it's just such an extraordinary thing, you know?

I totally understand. I missed a bunch of stuff when I was away my first year. It's not easy getting back and forth with the costs. XD;;

Yeah, exactly. That, plus the fact that I'm poor because I neither have a job, nor had a job over the summer, so I don't have much money to start with means that... yeah. I'm running on low in terms of funds, and I just... couldn't make it back. But I so, so wish I could've.

Actually, I had it in my head that you were going to be there so much that I forgot to ask the America cosplayers to bring giant flags for the group picture to send to the Hetalia Day website. My reasoning? "Oh, Emma has one, so she'll bring hers, of course; I don't need to ask anyone else, la la-la la-la~"

Haha, really? Wow, that makes me feel so awesome. Seriously. XD (Although it's slightly ironic- since I wouldn't have been regular America, but Stephen Colbertica, I probably wouldn't have brought the flag without prodding in the first place. XD )
