Wait, rhetorical means we're not supposed to answer, so if it's not rhetorical, then we are, but you said not to but it's not rhetori-- *head explodes* WHAT DO.

(The short answer, without a personal story attached, is that you just man up and do it like an adult, and you'll figure out how to cope somehow.)

Y-Yeah. I've kinda realized by now that thinking about it is just not gonna help. In the slightest.

And it was both, hon. It wasn't rhetorical. But I still didn't want a straight answer... I don't need to hear "you say X, Y and Z."

You'd know what to say when you get there. I feel that you'll never know unless you're there, in person, in reality, as opposed to trying to put yourself in the future to figure it out.
