Wait, rhetorical means we're not supposed to answer, so if it's not rhetorical, then we are, but you said not to but it's not rhetori-- *head explodes* WHAT DO.
(The short answer, without a personal story attached, is that you just man up and do it like an adult, and you'll figure out how to cope somehow.)
You'd know what to say when you get there. I feel that you'll never know unless you're there, in person, in reality, as opposed to trying to put yourself in the future to figure it out.
