I think it's very wise that you've decided on staying free at this age, because later on, it could affect you baddly if you start feeling like the only way you can be happy is if you have someone by your side.

Yeah, exactly. I'm 17, I'm single, and I'm happy this way. If I meet a guy or a girl I really like, then awesome. But I don't need someone. Snuggles every now and then would be nice, but... eh. I'm fine as I am~

Oh man, this. Cuddling is a lovely thing and no-one gets enough of it, but seriously, being able to live on your own terms, in your own time, is something I really don't want to give up either.
