So in addition to the usual event madness, plus changing characters, joining a new faction and introducing one of my best friends to LARP, it turns out the funeral is due to be held on thursday morning. On top of this, i tried to go back into work today. i have taken nearly a week off of unpaid leave and holilday that i spent sitting by the bedside

'I still cannot fucking grieve'... You are a Pagan, you know that death is is a change not an end of a soul. You also know in your heart that tears are not the sum of grief - be as kind to yourself as you are to others Mister! *huge hugggggggggs*

You may find that emotions stir on Thursday and the damn bursts, in a mix of joy and sadness and love and respect. I've known that happen for me, more than once.

Grief doesn't come in neatly shaped boxes, where everyone reacts the same way within the same timeframe. Thankfully...
