Mushrooms in Arizona

Walking through campus to work today, I found several mushrooms the size of softballs. Big, round, puffy mushrooms. Think they're edible? I don't think I want to try it. My friend who runs the wild foraging project is out of town, so I can't ask her. Anyway, mushrooms in Arizona freak me out. I guess it's been a good rainy season.

For my birthday? Katherine is flying out from Tennessee to spend the weekend with me. Yowee, I can't wait. May go ring shopping and buy myself a ring to make my fingers feel less naked. Are you one of those magical people who somehow remember birthdays? I wonder what it would be like to be one of those people...

I'm sorry I couldn't hear what those girls were singing on Saturday, seemed like you really dug it. I did enjoy the music. I was glad to have something going most of the day to distract me.

So, now I have your blog address. I won't promise I'll be actually writing anything in mine though. We'll see!

I just found your reply. Instead of replying to me, you replied to yourself, that is why I never wrote back. I didn't get the message. So....what's up? I don't magically remember birthdays, no. You never post anything that I can read. I've been fired up about politics lately and posting at the friends level about more personal stuff... I thought about stopping but decided to rededicate to regular posting instead. It is therapeutic for me--just like your profile says! The end of the semester is in sight and I am glad. Phew!

Did you get a new ring? I bought a ring with some of the money I got from returning the bracelet that Jay gave me last xmas. I like it much better. I have a credit to get something else. I should go spend it!

You can't see my posts because I never write anything in this blog! I never really have for any length of time consistently. Guess it's just not my thing, but I keep it anyway because I read a couple "friends" blogs.

No, I haven't bought a ring yet. I have four of them that Sal gave me, including the wedding ring, that I will at some point have to figure out something to do with. Who knows. I think I wanted to get used to the feeling of naked fingers before I filled the void with something else. I'm just now starting to stop feeling that the other rings are gone.

But anyway, I can't talk about it right now. I'm feeling up after a couple really rough weeks feeling down so I want to stay in a good mental place.

I haven't read your blog for a while, maybe I'll head over there and check it out...

Hmmmm. I understand about not wanting to go there. OK with me. Did you catch my post about the energy shifts on the 7th and 11th? Did you feel anything change on those days?
