 It tends to go for the gay rights issue.  So, to celebrate the legalization of same-sex marriage in DC, here are some adorable pictures of people getting married.

Well.  They're mostly adorable pictures of people getting married.  There are some pictures in there of protest signs that made me start shaking with uncontrollable anger and disbelief

There must be something wrong with the human race. I know a thousand perfectly nice people, but the fact that people like these protesters even exist is horrifying. I vote to evict them from the planet (and we won't even let them go to Mars).

It just makes me so ANGRY! Did you see that little kid in the orange sweatshirt?! HOW OLD IS HE?!!!! HE PROBABLY HAS NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT AND HIS PARENTS HAVE PROBABLY COMPLETELY BRAINWASHED THIS INNOCENT CHILD WHO SHOULD BE GROWING UP TO BE THE BRIGHTER FUTURE OF HUMANITY!!!!! I don't BELIEVE that.

Aaaw, that news made me so happy. (The protesters...egh. I've met people like that at pride fests. Not classy at all.) I have two friends getting married this summer, and they're going to make the trip up to DC pretty soon to make it legal.

OH MAN and this means my boss and her partner can be legally married, too! They *live* in DC. (Just realized this!)

Ooooh I'm so excited. I can't wait until this is nation-wide.

It's so exiting that this is happening so near to my stupid overly-conservative little county! :D YAYS!

I can't see the pictures, but I know Fred Phelps and his church. HATE HATE HATE. It really is difficult for me to believe that people that stupid can still remember to breathe. :/ It's really quite depressing. (Though, I recommend taping a picture of Fred Phelps to the wall and throwing stuff at it. Great stress relief!) xD

My favorite was actually the straight couple, Morgan and Todd, who boycotted marriage for 7(?) YEARS because of inequality. That's just so damn cool.

Hee, I know, they made me so happy! And they're standing with that Love Wins sign right next to the stupid protesters. Some people really are great.

And the amazing thing is that there are more of amazing people everywhere and I meet them every day.
