pepperjackcandy, this was such a fun comment to read! Thanks for the applause. And I agree, it's horrid what those kids do during Homecoming every year. Definitely vestiges of a blood-sacrifice ritual...maybe Aztec?
Hehehehe...I try not to show my Pa Kent hate, I really do. I try to be fair to the man, but I refuse to put on rose-colored blinders. So, I try my best to write him realistically, so he does tend to get a bit bruised in my fics. Some more than others. In this one, Lex is no-holds bar critical of the man...with definite edge.
Someday I may try to challenge myself to write a love-fest 'Pa Kent is Great' fic...but not any time in the immediate future. I have too many other projects, and I just can't justify letting other things fall to the wayside for Jonathan Kent.
