Car accidents suck. I was so upset, and while my dad was fairly understanding, he was a complete ass about me paying for my own mess. It was a major butting of pride on both our parts, though I think that my wanting to take responsibility over what I did trumped his male-alpha issues on taking money from his daughter.

Thanks, hon. I bought some adware/spyware programming a few months ago, and it's helped a lot. It's insane, the things people come up with, that's just plain malicious or intrusive...especially when it comes to the internet.
I only think that it could have been so much worse and I am thankful that it was not an accident of the extreme horrible kind. You're OK and everyone involved is reacting well. Sending cyber hugs your way and take care of yourself. Give yourself a few quiet minutes to celebrate that you're alive.

As to the car thing, I ran into some problems as far as trying to pay for the repairs, but it's over and done with. I am very wary now, of that merge lane, and I go into work earlier. I know you can only control so much, but it is nicer to be on the road with fewer cars so early in the morning.

*hugs* Thanks, G. Definitely back, and yeah, being in the middle is not fun. Especially when it's with two neurotic women, one who's ultra sensitive and the other is ultra petty. As much as I love D, who is usually a sweetheart, when it comes to JD, she's got anger pouring out of her ears. If you don't have a total hate-on for JD, she thinks you're betraying her.
Which, now that I think of it, is sort of like Jonathan's blind anger-bitterness over all things Luthor!
I've definitely mastered the art of the smile-and-nod.

Hmmmm I do recommend Scan Spyware - PC Privacy Protection Software.
It is better than Adaware and Spypot. Just put it in to my own computer. Very good.
