Today was actually lovely, despite my sincere hate for the day. I have always hated Thanksgiving. I used to get sick on it every year and my mother used to say my body was objecting to the holiday as much as my mind was. My yahoo mail is still not working. Humph. But I am in the US and safe and tired. And it's snowy here. Poos. But I had mommy hugs :D

Also my parent's house has heated floors, which you don't notice on the carpets, but I just went into the bathroom and it freaked me right out before I remembered.

I have been looking forward to going to the US because being here in the city of Aftershocks and Gloom hasn't been great for the old brainpan. But my trip to Te Anau and various made me feel so incredibly good. So now I'm all "wah, I have to leave my home for two months!" I so overdid it on the days I had energy. I have spent the last two days basically sleeping and nothing else.
