So Ariadne got out a few weeks ago and since it was a warm day we just let her hang out and we left the doors open. Then she started scratching a lot. Cue me panicking about fleas everywhere and infestations and never ever being clean again ever. So I took her to the vet today and the vet looked at her, said she had a very mild case of fleas and ( Read more... )

You all sound like you need better counsellors!

I have been to a counsellor before who wasn't like that at all. I am fairly sure it's not all counsellors! I'm sorry yours wasn't helpful either!

I actually registered for information with Anxiety Support Christchurch to see who they recommend, since that seems like a good idea.

Kittehs :3 And flea infestations do stop eventually. We had a hella bad one for a while, but the little bastards finally died.

The vet was actually convinced I was imagining the fleas at first. She was like "I don't see any flea dirt on her, are you sure?" and I was like "I SAW ONE, I SAW IT" beginning to think I was hysterical. And then she found one. ONE. After looking quite hard. So it shouldn't be too hard to control! We have the dehumidifier on and they've both been treated now, so any fleas that DO get on them will die instead of breed and feed. This pleases me.

Random fleas are usually pretty easy to track down and kill, so you should be safe. You'll definitely notice if they've infested your house or something, but it sounds like it's not at that level.

Also, I think I will actually be online tonight. THIS IS AMAZING :D

I will try to be too then! Ness is coming over!

Patrick can tell George they did sexytimes! And if you want to thread out George and Patrick visiting the Tower of London I am down with that. We can even do it after your finals and backdate it if you're feeling overwhelmed but still want to do it.

If it's not a match, don't bother going back! Not that it sounds like you will. Shop around til you find one you like. I got lucky the first time around w/ mine, but i'd done a couple of phone interviews first. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. And coming to a decision is a good thing! What does this do to your timeline?

Well I have to go back once to deal with the medical withdrawal, but then I will shop around. I asked for information from Anxiety Support to see who they recommend.

As far as timelines go, it means I have a half year to do next year, but I would rather do that than deal with it now. Especially if it means it won't be so up in the air and interrupted.
