I love exorcism movies. >___________> I'll admit that I have a thing for the Exorcism of Emily Rose. I'm not going to say it is good because that is subjective but it was very enjoyable for me and I still watch it frequently.

Also have you seen the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street? I thought that was rather good for what it was. XD GOOD HALLOWEEN MOVIE. Blood Creek amuses me........but it's all my fascination with Nazis. Nananana \o\

As for villains, it's hard- I thought the kids of Eden Lake were fucking terrifying because they were so normal and... nn. x.x Freddy in the remake is pretty creepy.

I love it. I think it's an intelligently told story by moving it into a courtroom and showing it through testimony. It's awesome.

I enjoy the remake, but I didn't QUITE understand why they changed Freddy's character. STILL, I found it enjoyable enough to buy!

See, the normality factor is why Stu Macher in Scream freaks me out. They're just KIDS. And then he says 'my mom and dad are gonna be so mad at me' and while most people laughed at that line, it FREAKS ME OUT because someone can be so...just...*shudder*

I don't think they changed his character just made a few things more explicit about his nature? Or rather they went back to what was originally the plan of his character background? I may be wrong!

Favorite Horror Villain or Horror Villain Who Scared the Living Shit Out of Me? Because I'm not sure about the first one, but the second one I think has gotta be Pinhead. Oh god, my childhood nightmares, they all involved dismemberment.

I haven't seen it, but I do like Clive Barker.

And yeah...I don't understand why you would WANT to fuck up that ending. Augh.

FUCK YEAH HALLOWEEN! I loved H20 specifically because Laurie kicks so much ass. I wish more people in slasher films would do that. Not the normal "snarky one-liner" thing that happens, but just go nuts with animal fear and rage. That always seemed like more realistic reaction. Like, if I decided to fight back against the person stalking me, I think I'd attack them like a rabid, furious raccoon instead of James Bond.

...it's possible my love for these movies is making me sound crazy.

I've always thought stories about possession were incredibly creepy (so I guess the villains there are the Devil/demons/angry ghosts) if only because they actually invade your body and cause you to do things. And in some cases it's unclear if the person has been assimilated into the Evil Possessing Thing, or if they're still trapped under there somewhere, watching it all happen O_O

I have nver watched The Exorcist and I don't think I ever will. I saw one scene and it was enough to keep me from ever seeing it. I made that mistake once when I said I'd never watch The Silence of The Lambs and I did and felt so disgusted afterward. Noooo not me!

What scares me the most are Ringu type people crawling int that creaking stop motion kind of way on all fours. That gives me the eebie jeebies. Laughing children and talking ghosts in horror flicks. Omg hair on the back of my neck stand up! Scariest villen though--those mutated inbred people in The Hills Have Eyes. EWW.
