For the first time in about (and this is a conservative guess) six years, I went running. One foot in front of the other at a rapid pace as the chest constricts and gasps at loud, entertaining volumes and the face turns bright, bright red to light the way for weary walkers. That sort of running.

It is a bit of head rush isn't it? I tried it last summer; it scared me how much my heart burned at first! But it felt so good, afterwards, like you're alive?

Hehe - just reading your post about running made me feel exhausted. I don't mind running for a bus or a train or something - the rush of adrenaline can be exhilarating at times - but actually setting out to run just isn't for me. Huzzah for your surviving, though. :)
