Oh now that is something to wake up to... Don DeMarco is my favourite MS character after Ray Doyle, and ohhhh but you've done him justice here! Those sunset colours, and the look in his eyes, oh and the texture of it all... You know, this might almost be my favourite of your pieces now! Thank you so much!
Right, and then there's this one as I work my way backwards through my f'list. *g* Oh, my goodness. Okay, this is going to sound weird. You've totally captured him here--and the colors and lighting are fantastic, by the way--but I think what I like best about it is that it conveys to me Don DeMarco, but not Martin Shaw. And I love that. You've captured the character. That's absolutely amazing. Thank you! (And you now probably think I'm insane, so I'll just sidle away here...*g*)
Thank you!! Sorry for the delay in answering--it's been crazy since I got back from MW. I'm so pleased you liked this -- I think MS looks his best ever in this movie and I'm glad you think I was able to capture the character. MS did an amazing job with the role and I was captivated by his performance. So glad you liked it. :-) I hope to see you at Close Quarters?? :-)
I'm glad you liked it, even though you don't know who he is. :-) You might check out some of the Pros DVDs--he was a cutie when younger, but got better looking as he got older. ;-)
Thanks for your comment! I appreciate your time! XXXOOO Lorraine
Thank you, Hon! He does look like a pirate but he was more gypsy, actually. His character was an out-of-work circus performer and he was drop dead gorgeous in this role, I think. :-)
I'll write again this weekend--the feeling of being brain dead is lifting. Slowly, though.
