Isn't SD awesome?! It makes me wish I had enough money to redecorate my apartment every other month. I posed my crazy amazing bedroom from my old apartment. I was sad to say goodbye to that bedroom :( Oh, well. New spaces, new ideas from SD to try out, right?

Thanks!

Ugh, I know. I hate hate HATE articles like this that only isolate disturbed teens further and freak their parents the fuck OUT. Seriously, this was the kind of crap that my parents were turning to for advice during my early teens, and God bless them because I know that they were only trying to understand, but crap like this does NOTHING to address any kind of actual issue, gives no advice on how to approach a depressed teen or help them, provides no guidelines on how to open up a dialogue about safe sex with teenagers, and demonizes TEH SEX. It just makes parents more confused and seriously scared for their children without giving any real way out of a bad situation. Lame, lame, lame.

Whoooo, rantage! Sorry! ;)

I experience the same frustration whenever I read MSM articles about fibromyalgia, because most mainstream media articles about it say he same things: fibro is probably not real and here are some doctors who say so, only middle/upper-class, middle-aged white women get it (not true), and people who have fibro are complainers so we shouldn't listen to them anyway. Like the demonization of sexual activity and its supposed "link" to self-mutilation, such articles do nothing to address real issues.

Ranty comment is ranty.
