Law school is going quite well, actually better than I had expected. I'm glad that I represent good things in the world for you, that's a really nice thing to say and makes me feel pretty happy. *hugs*

OH THEM. *flails* I love the snarky domesticity of this, how well they work together. And Donna! On the show, I loved the times on the show when she would develop quirky passions or crusades, because they were never what you expected but they always made sense in a surprising way. This is one of those things, where she does something unexpected that's still true to her and what she cares about. <3 And I love Josh recognizing that, in his own way: lets himself recognize the way that Donna has grown every time she’s been given something new, something bigger to conquer.

The weekend janitor actually rolls his eyes upon seeing Josh, but just says, “Evening, Mr. Lyman.”

*laughs* Oh, Josh. You nailed his voice throughout - the way he backed down at the end of his first convo with Donna (the way she *made* him back down, lol), his talk with Helen, the last little section about the nightmare. Awesome!

Thank you so much! I always worry about character voice when I write WW. This makes me smile. HARD.

They suit your style, I think. The Sorkin banter gets a lot of press, but there's a confessional quality to his characters that I see in a lot of your stories but I miss in most WW fic.

is part of my feedback campaign, generated from having the day off, and convincing myself that I get to catch up on all the delicious fanfic Arsenic has published the last few months.

God I love the West Wing. Until Season 6 and 7, which I find less inspiring than the first five. Well actually, the first three, but there are parts of 4 and 5 I like...Like the Supremes. anyhoodle, there is a lot I love here, but this line in particular...

Donna gives him The Look, the one that says, “You weren’t crazy when I left you, what did you do?Because it totally fits them. It's one of the totally true things about their canon relationship that is never actually explicitly explored in the text. That's why I love your fanfic, because you fill in the spaces that Sorokin or Rowling never got to, and when I read it, it's like yeah, of course that makes sense, or that's totally it. Its especially fabulous that you do it with the WW, because tho I love love love pretty much everything Aaron Sorokin has ever written, and I think I own the ( ... )

Dude, it's nice that your day off corresponded with me having surgery and being on really fucking sucktastic antibiotics. Awesome.

Josh feels a little bit like that sentiment covers more of their relationship than he would like to think it does. He’s not sure entirely what makes him say it, only that he means it when he says, “I really want you to marry me, Donatella Moss.”
