I'm not sure how you got mine so perfectly right, but seriously. So right. I have had so many conversations about Brendon's insecurities over writing his own lyrics, and you wrote me a this awesome story of Jon helping him to get comfortable writing. I love Brendon making up songs from billboard slogans and Jon being able to explain things in a way that makes sense for Brendon. I love that Brendon makes more sense sometimes when he's high, and that Ryan is still intimidated by Brendon. Pretty much I just loved this. Thank you for writing it.
The best thing in the world when you write something at someone's prompt is for it to really work for them. Thank you so much for this comment, it means a lot.
Those were all wonderful. I especially liked the one you wrote for me. You write their personalities perfectly. Of course it would be Pete that ended up in the hospital, he always seems to be injured in some way.
Thank you for writing these, I enjoyed them very much.
Behind him, Aaron and Bryce both laughed. Pete just said, "Excellent question," and settled in to think of an answer.
Hehe. Such a great response. Such a great Pete.
-aside- I had to go and google both the band and the fellow at this point because I was starting to like him and had no idea who he was! ;) -/aside-
Two weeks later, there was an email in Matt's box, a video contained in it. He watched as Pete walked into his audience, let them subsume him, and then rose again. It wasn't precisely Messianic, but Matt also didn't think the words "rock star" described what he was seeing. He didn't really have words for it, which frustrated him, despite his knowledge that there were plenty of things in the world that couldn't be written out. He wasn't sure why, but having Pete Wentz be one of them came at him from the wrong direction, and settled under his skin in places he couldn't reach.~flails~ This is one of my favorite things about Pete. And also one of the things that makes me

Spencer and Ryan had a huge fight after that, which they both pretended was nothing. Brendon nodded, "Three hours of yelling was always nothing in my family, too."
This made me laugh, it's funny, but also because of the tone. It's so matter-of-fact while being anything but. :D
"People like leaving me, but usually they don't wait until--" Ryan tilted his head. "What are you waiting for?"
Your Ryan's keep breaking my heart!!!! Oh. Poor, silly, sad, lonely boy. Your band loves you--promise.
"I don't want to leave. I want this damn band, which I haven't even been offered, by the way, so I'm not sure why I'm not the one who gets to be all self-conscious. And making time stop for yourself doesn't make it stop for everyone else. But I'm not going anywhere, so you don't have to fucking freeze anything."
Oh Jon. Lovely way to put it.
I really liked this whole piece, the way Ryan has this thing that he does that no one talks about and Spencer gets defensive about, but try and make him stop. It, in a way, explains so

I know this doesn't say it's Empires 'verse, but since that's the only real place I've ever read or seen this threesome, I'm there in my headspace.
I literally stopped breathing when Patrick said, "Joe's with him." ~tries to calm self~ You're getting this commentary as I read, you understand (YAY notepad), so I can't say if that will/does change in terms of the perspective of the universe, but it bears mentioning that I'm so invested in these three characters as a result of that 'verse that I'm having a physical reaction. :D Well, either that or I'm more lame than I realized, but I'm pretty sure it's all your fault regardless.
Frank liked that even when he wasn't calm, Mikey sounded calm. It had a placebo effect on Frank.
Hehe. This I like. I'm still squidgy in the stomach though. FYI.
"FPO," Patrick said. It stood for "Freak Pete Occurence." They'd codified it after the third time Pete had managed to do something so unlikely that it was hard to explain. "All I saw was his bass go one way, him go the other, and
