I do know this one, and I really like this background you gave for Sam.

I liked seeing her stand up and be noticed for the thing she really wanted.

it was Sam who rigged it out of basic stuff that anyone could buy at a Radio Shack or even a KMart.

I love intelligent, practical girls. Sam was one of my favorite characters on SG1. She's so low key most of the time and still gets shit done. I love this fic. It's a little sad and hopeful and Sam.
