It's okay, this art is better than whatever JRJR is pulling in WWH I can say this away from most fans and not get lynched \o/
And I'd like to think through the magic of comic book continuity they're at the same time in a way. Because Thor + Hulk = REIGN OF RIGHTEOUS SMITING AND SMASHING
Honestly? Romita's stuff in WWH is really uneven as far as I'm concerned--some of it rocks, some of it's a mess.
Hey, I'm holding out (increasingly vain) hope that the hammer's going to fall--literally and figuratively--some point in WWH yet... Just not certain upon whom. The Illuminati are getting their asses handed to them so quickly that I'm left wondering if there's a big twist coming that'll turn Hulk from righteous avenger into something more sinister.
Ooh, rampant fanboy speculation... how I've missed you.
Yeah. I love the man's sequencing but he's really not getting the emotions well. The faces all look the same, and the female ones like Jen are downright fug.
It's Marvel's Deus Ex Machina of not allowing us to have half the 616 superheroes dead. It will probably be full of lame although if they somehow manage to work the plot about the betrayal in the beginning (or Nova/Surfer stepping up to take him. I would pay for that) I might not be horribly disappointed.
