[slaps at the side of his neck, thinking the sudden sharp sting there is a mosquito]

[silent raising of an eyebrow and wondering what he's doing.]

[glances over at Murphy, still rubbing the side of his neck] How long have you been standing there?

[lieu_murphy]

Long enough to see you twitch. Problems with your neck?

[whatstheddx]

Something bit me.

[rubs his fingers over the spot that's stinging before pulling his hand away to look at it. Expecting to see a squashed and bloody mosquito, he frowns at seeing that there's nothing there.]

[eyes his hand, other eyebrow going up with a slight smirk]

Right. In the dead of winter something bit you.

[whatstheddx]

Something bit me.

[yanks his hand from hers, then grasps her wrist and tugs her to join him on the couch]

Shut up. Come here.

[lieu_murphy]

Woah, hello!

[stumbles a bit and makes a less than graceful landing on the couch.]

What's gotten into you?

[whatstheddx]

You're less annoying when you're not standing over me.

[tugs her again, this time to make her scoot up against his side]

Hey, I take every chance I can to loom. It doesn't happen often.

[moves up and settles along his side.]

[lifts an arm up and around her shoulders, then immediately angles his mouth against the side of her neck. Weird that he's suddenly filled with intense affection and desire for her - then again, having unexpected feelings for her at unpredictable moments isn't anything new]

Neither does this.

[yes, it's a little weird but she's snuggling up to him and laying an arm over his chest. Unexpected affection and desire go hand and hand with him.]

Maybe something's in the water.
