I love the reaction of Oliver when Quentin told him "Happy Birthday Mister Mayor." :)

LOL Poor Curtis when Oliver sent him on the floor. The Green Arrow drawing on the cake was adorable.

In the flashback, I did not expect that Oliver would use the only bullet he had to shoot the lock of the door. Clever.

Aww, they are all on the Island for an EPIC Fight. It's great that everyone will be among the action for the finale instead of some of them being inside, away from everything. lol

also... wasn't slade out? free? somewhere? after malcolm let him loose when oliver and thea were training on the island?

i dont seem to recall them locking him back up. i thought he escaped to go do his movie. :X

so... i'm supposed to believe that malcolm ISN'T behind this whole chase plot? and he didn't show up just to watch oliver squirm? really? after the whole 'because death would be a mercy compared to the debt i now owe you' thing at the end of S4??

bah. malcolm's lips are moving. i don't believe him.

though i would have thought he'd make sure chase didn't actually harm thea.

i'm suprised malcolm threw oliver his 'i'm not the arrow and i'm using a handgun' gear instead of his arrow costume.

also curious about malcolm's line to oliver about 'it took a sociopath to point this out to you.' is he referring to chase, or himself? :X

Well, it seems that he was locked up for all this time...

Malcolm would never put Thea in danger, so I believe him. As you said, Malcolm would have said something like "I told him that he could do anything to anyone except Thea, but he did not keep is promise." if he had been the one talking to Chase.

hmm...

but i don't think malcolm would have said anything to oliver about him hiring/using/helping chase. i mean, as smart as he is, and as much of a liar as he is... so i'm still not convinced malcolm didn't have something (if not everything) to do with chase's vendetta.

who else the heck knows ALL THAT about the hood and the arrow and the vigilante and the green arrow AND that it is oliver. i mean... the list of victims. the throwing stars made up of MELTED DOWN ARROWHEADS used by oliver over the years.
plus chase's tenuous connection to this father he never knew, but is so hot to avenge. it just doesn't make sense.

unless the writers are just writing BS. usually they don't, though, so... i dunno.
