Oh, sweet, I love opening up the laptop and finding new fic waiting for me! And a clueless Sandburg sabotaging Jim's dates! Love the last line. Thanks for the fun!

Yup, because Blair can surely obfuscate to himself as well as the next person. :-) And bless not-so-clueless Jim detecting to the purpose.

You had some lovely lines but I particularly liked this.
All heavy and scared and sweet with wanting.

And your last sentence is so perfectly Jim. :-)

Thank you kindly, mab. Poor Blair, I hope he doesn't beat himself up too much.

Poor Jim! Having to suffer so to get to his just reward. Very nice story. Had me chuckling through it. I think Jim's right to forget about those women. He's a smart guy. Thanks!

YOu should see me, I'm grinning like a mad woman and hugging myself with pleasure at this - I read it so slo-w-u-ly so that it would last, and then I started laughing with delight at the dry wit of it all, especially at the way you wrote Jim's encounter with the toner, the hospital visit, etc. And then you go and make it so damn sweet at the end too::sigh::

What can I say? I'm in seventh heaven, I adore the way you write these two, and this is going in my comfort-forever fic file. Quite glorious.

Hehe, I have to admit it's fun writing the inside of Jim's crusty old self.

Thank you so much for the sweet note, Sheila. *twirls you*
