RAZRS vs. BLADES

Dec 10, 2005 15:54

So my boyfriend and I have recently had a HUGE fight over cell phones. You see, I have a Sprint family plan with him and my immediate family, and so his current phone is effectively free. Now he doesn't have a problem with Sprint EXCEPT that Sprint does not carry the ultrapopular, ultrathin bluetooth enabled cell phone -- the RAZR V3. The Horror ( Read more... )

I liked mine, too. But I never really conceived of phones as fat until now.

I think Im biased because I find razrs to be extremely ugly and annoying when I talk on them. my sister's boyfriend had one and it always had face grease all over it. totally ruined it for me.

However did you carry that monstrosity with you? The sheer weight of that bulky horror must have been enough to drive you to your knees. Or not.

Oh, you are so hip and trendy now.

*can't stop snickering over obese phones*

I don't know. Though I must admit, the one advantage of my old phone is that, if I put the phone in my front pocket and wear tight jeans, the phone certainly makes it look like I am well endowed :D

LOL. Ah, the fat jokes. Where does this obscene obsession with weight end in our society? First our models are too fat so they become practically invisible which sends the youth of our country into a tailspin of eating disorders and binging and exercise obsessions and now it's come to this?! Obsession over the obescity of objects...I suppose we should have seen it coming with "flat" TVs and those uber thin computer monitors, but really. I had no idea it had gotten this bad. Thank you for this story...I'll keep an eye on my own phone to make sure she doesn't lose to much weight...I'd hate for her to get all thin and make me look bad!

You forgot the increasingly slim Ipods. The nano is so small you can hardly see it!

Yes. Luckily, I purchased my ipod prior to the Great Ipod Slim Down of 2005...My ipod and I are both quite happy with our extra padding...
