It's Monday of "event week" and yet nothing seems different. Am I the only one who has noticed this?

"Event week"?

If you don't mind my prying... is this about food falling from the sky?

Apologies, you must be new here.

Usually every other week, an "event" happens. Two weeks ago was when food fell from the sky, which you must have heard about from someone. The events here range from ridiculous, like the food, to emotionally-trying. We have not yet found a way to stop or even prepare for them. Also, not everyone is always affected. It's very strange, but we try our best to go along with everything.

Well, I was going to point out that it's not best to speak so soon - but using the rain of food as an example perhaps wasn't such a good idea.
