More 302 analysing!

Like the rest of you, I've been doing quite a bit of squeeing speculation on the end of 302. :D And I composed my thoughts into a teeny-tiny piece of meta over at my journal, which I thought I'd share so I can analyse with the rest of you lovely folk. ♥

I do realise there's a post on this already, which I've read all through, but my ramblings ( Read more... )

I wouldn't underestimate oldfarts like Mayuri either. Particularly, since they tend to have surprises up have up their sleeves. Though Mayuri pretty much dug himself a grave since he experimented on Ishida's grandfather and among 2000+ Quincy. Ryuken and Uryuu are the last of the generation. The problem with Ishida and Mayuri still remains unresolved. Ishida is basically the wild card, whether he chooses to help Mayuri or not.

Oh, I do agree that Mayuri isn't done yet and that he most likely will open himself up a new bag of tricks. I'm just basing all this off the established canon we already have. :3 (And then, even if he does have shiny new tricks, there's no saying that Szayel hasn't analysed them already. He is quick like that, after all.)

And yeah, Uryuu really is the wild card. Poor kid is definitely stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment with these two. O.o (Although, I can't quite see him actually helping Mayuri unless something truly drastic happens. Uryuu knows full well what he did to his grandfather, and also that Mayuri has absolutely no remorse over it. Helping him would be...not bolstering to the famed Quincy pride, to say the least.)

The circus is in town and we're all invited.

Though with Mayuri gone, it would be a relief for Ishida. Szayel does expresses himself openly and showing signs of emotions, even though its quiet and allows room for others to express themselves, even when he looks down on them. It just occur to me, even if it something drastically happened to Mayuri, would think Ishida would still help him? For all the pain he caused for the poor kid. Is pretty hard for oldfarts to change their perspective, since you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
