I love your thoughts on Arthur's character because you're absolutely right. I believe that this Arthur, when he'll become the one of the legends, will be a truly inspirational figure.

They made him legendary by making him 'ordinary'. Go Arthur!

Yeah, it's more inspiring to see how someone can change than someone that has always been 'perfect'. Not to mention much more interesting!

I second all that you've said about Arthur. The writers have done a fantastic job with his character - as has Bradley James.

The Moment of Truth is a very good choice. I fell in love with Arthur all over again when I watched this ep. And, as always, The Sins of the Father is a must.

I myself recently expanded to read some Merlin/Arthur, and I found myself liking some of them for what they were. Arthur/Gwen will always be my Merlin OTP, but I have new respect for the slash shippers & I can see the allure.
