I seem to remember that friends told me they liked the realistic interaction between the siblings, but found the bits with the piano implausible and not particularly scary. I enjoyed your piano story! Your character development seemed to me to be the best part. I really liked Alix and Jill as characters; which one do you relate to most?
I don't really think that you need to devlop it much more; all you need to do to make the "piano" parts more plausible is add transitions. I'm not really sure how; just slow down the action a little, if you can. And maybe make the part where Matt and the piano face off a little longer and more complex.
I'm glad you could share this story with us! I hope to read more soon.
