Also apparently Rinbo is falling out of love with Thiefshipping again. You must hurry up and get internet so we can write DystopianFuture!CrimeLord!AU. Because that is the antithesis of uke-Malik!Thiefshipping. It's Malik-wants-to-shoot-you-in-the-face!Thiefshipping.

Also I tweeted her my recs list and I think she might think I'm insane. >>

Well, Takahashi had to research Ishtar to name the Ishtars after her, right...? /pretends OTP is canon

Yes, exactly. He knew what he was doing. He laid everything out for us to find. It's all there if we look hard enough. /pretends also :'D

THIEFSHIPPING IS THE DESTINED PAIRING OF THE AGES, CLEARLY. Yugioh wasn't inspired by Ancient Egypt, Ancient Egypt was inspired by Yugioh.

Dunno if you read what I said to Sierra, but *The Rod and Ring is usually shown as being offered to a king, often one who is making a sacrifice*

!!!!!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod-and-ring_symbol

I'm going to pretend in my head that Takahashi came across all this when he was deciding on what to name the Ishtars. And that all Thiefshipping subtext was intentional. O_O
