Dude, this is awesome and I want to make one. What did you use to build it? How did you cut out the pieces?

It needs some paint. Man, if you didn't live in Florida, I would want to come help.

hes made from a special foam made for disney on ice - all props in ringling bros. circus and all DOI shows are made from it.

I reassembled him and plan on finishing the project. Molds and all so i can mass produce them :-)

Is the Disney foam commercially available? Man, molds of that thing would be awesome.

its expensive $200 a sheet 8'x 4' and 2" thick. course price ranges from thickness ect. I'll look for the manufacturer
the foams near untearable and indistuctable. except fire, it can only be carved with razor blades and smoothed with sand paper.

I'd recomend another medium for sculpting a robot. I only used the foam cause it was free and i had a huge industrial shop at my disposal.
