After so much early success, recent attempts at cooking have failed. Tonight's spicy-cornmeal-breaded eggplant was too bland to live, and a few nights ago my teriyaki tofu was mushy and strange. At least I can still bake... I might make some more chocolate peanut butter surprise cookies to lift my spirits
