[Open Post] - The Findings of a Different Path Taken, Perhaps

Given that the Hellions had left, Arabelle needed to be outside of her workshop for a long while. Preferably somewhere warm.

To get her mind off of everything that happened. Caleb's death, the destruction of the Blader, various things going on on her home world. Not even to mention other issues.

Lucca's out in the open Nexus again, possibly for the first time since her fight with the Fused Shadow. On a whim she decides to drop in on Ara, and she hopes that she didn't accidentally forget to scramble her PINcomm and that she won't drop in on her in the middle of something embarassing.

But, instead she finds the other side of the Gate to be on seamless metal covered with patina from the salt air of the Nexus Ocean. She doesn't see Arabelle immediately.

"Arabelle? You around?"

Nah, Arabelle usually sets the PINcomm to 'Away' when she's in something embarrassing.

...Usually. Sometimes things have a way of sneaking up on her. The air is warm surrounding her, the view from up there is damn impressive. One can see the sea quite far off.

The metal of the wing Lucca is standing on is a smooth titanium alloy of some kind, with a faded picture of Earth-with-wings and a set of parallel red lines behind it.

"Eh?" She blinks up from the airlock she's trying to break into, glancing around. "Hello? I thought I heard somebody!"

"'S me! Where are you?" Lucca looks down over the side of the wing, trying to get a better fix on her voice. It's not easy, with the reverberating metal and the sea breeze.

Predictably, Arabelle's at the wrong end of the wing, "Down here! Where the frigging hell're you?" She glances around, even up!

...But she's at the wrong end of the wing.
