Rylie is nearby- out of the bed they put her in, already, lurking in a chair near Ara, eyes half-open. She was in just a hospital gown, but she's retrieved a baggy pair of shorts and a similar shirt from somewhere to wear instead.

"Uhh?" she asks unclearly, her eyes sliding more open. For some reason she's still clinging to that katana... though now it's back in the sheathe, at least.

Arabelle hasn't closed her eyes, she's just laying there with them wide open, on her back at the moment, uncomfortable as it is, she's not really sure she should move.

She watches Rylie. That's the... But..

"You okay?"

Of course she's not okay, but that's the normal question, isn't it? She saw Ara's head blow up... god, it'll never be okay. Fuck.

Her voice is quiet and tired, better than it was earlier, though not by much, "Is 'I dunno' an acceptable answer?"

AKA - the original one - steps into the room, silently on his bare feet. This is the first time he's been inside a hospital when he wasn't working, and it's different. It's kind of a freeing feeling, just getting to visit someone without having to kill them. Arabelle is there, and Rylie, and... they're both okay! He's seen much worse, and he knows that neither of them are going to die.

Psychological trauma, though? He's not so experienced with.

"Hi..." Cue nervous smile. "How are you two doing?"

It's a half-smile, but it's a smile nonetheless, "Hey, dude."

"Could be better, could be worse I suppose. Been through hell and back again, so.."

"Yeah," Rylie says from where she's half-laying on Ara. "It'll be a while before I can really do anything but feel like crap."

She's too fatigued to have her usual vague heterophobia around AKA... that should give an idea of just how wrung-out she is.

AKA, not being exactly the most socially ept being, does not notice the heterophobia or the lack thereof at the moment. He does know that there generally is some heterophobia, so he subtly shifts into a female as he approaches the bed.

... Yeah, like growing boobs is something you can do subtly.

"Well." Obligatory pause because this is AKA. "I'm glad you're... here. At least."

Well, that's not the best way to word that, but.
