A song from my favourite album. Once again, "favourite album" isn't exactly the easiest thing to define, so I'm going to use my iTunes top 25 as my guide. Ever since you posted "The Myth and the Magic" the other day I've been listening to Fiction and I really do think it was the their best album overall. No small feat since all of their albums are so good. There aren't many bands that are this seriously and consistently amazing.

Agreed! Dark Tranquillity continually impress. Even my least favourite of their albums, Character, has some great stuff on it. Even their earlier videos are amazing. I always thought Hedon was really powerful.

Character's the one I have that I listen to the least but yep, still good.

Interesting! I never would have thought to compare the two, but you're quite right.

Dark Tranquillity have quite a diverse style. Their album Projector consisted almost entirely of slower, sadder songs with almost exclusively clean vocals. It was quite a risk, and got them dropped by their record company in Japan for some years, but having been around since 1992, they're certainly a band who have stood the test of time.
