*can't think of anything to say because of brain 'splosion*

...I think my mother's typewriter has an evil spirit inside of it. Or something.
Dammit, Booth, why can't you just leave me alone? Seriously. The vampire of despair in my head was replaced by the fandom despair I was feeling yesterday, then I was just getting over that and writing and the minute I start typing up the new crap story, Booth swoops ( Read more... )

Wait, I thought you liked the typewriter??? I thought it was clunky and cute?
But then again, I understand evil spirits in things. One day in like third grade, I brought this mini porcelin (sp?) doll to school, and I had an awful day. I haven't touched it since.
^^ Shut up. I'm trying to equate here.

Also? What's the version of Easter Rising that you have? Cause I think mine's way outdated compared to yours.. mine is the 1-25-04 Makor Reading..
Sorry. I'm just curious.

I LOVE the typewriter, it just gives me vampires. (And that's understandable, the whole doll thing.)

Um... it's the 12-dateIcan't remember-04 Joe's Pub reading. I think.

My expert advice is to defeat the vampires and keep using the typewriter. (Like you haven't figured that out yet)

Oh, really? I thought that was just Michael being like, "Let's sing some random-ass songs while I fill in for some one!!"

And you are the expert for a reason! (I'm working on the first part.)

I don't think so, I'm pretty sure it's Joe's Pub. I love anyway, even though 'This is Your Life' is better when Michael sings it at Opia.

'Course you can do it. What you need is some garlic and a stake.

Thanks. *goes off to find some* It's like I need a new stake every time he pops into my head.

Jut curious, what exactly makes you think that Easter Rising couldn't be performed on stage? Just curious, it's pretty inherently theatrical, as far as the dialogue and presentation of characters that probably wouldn't translate to film as well as it would on stage. If it's the car setting, settings can be pretty easily fixed on stage as well.

Take Me Back is gorgeous. Especially the little burst of John in contrast to the adults.

Not 'couldn't', I guess I used the wrong word... difficult to do, maybe. I don't know, I'm think because of the dream I had where Michael won an Oscar for it, my brain goes 'Oh, movie'. Plus... for 'Tack Me Back', in my head is this montage of clips.

And... gah. I love Take Me Back. The part that really makes me cry is that bit at the end where it's just John doing the 'Nothing matters but the sun and the earth and the sky'.

Michael!!! You need to get another reading out there and someone needs to record it, stat, por favor senor.
