You speak truth.
Not eating out is the one thing that I've been able to hold true to. Since I'm unemployed I have no qualms and lots of time to cook. Then there are scads of leftovers. But then last Friday we went out with good friends to a hipster place with hoity-toity prices. We had 3 drinks each and had one bite of each appetizer; $120.

Ah, I too love to go out to eat, but yeah, for awhile i was doing it out of ease instead of as something fun, and that gets expensive.

I don't mind paying for an experience of food. Had a great dinner with the folks for my dad's birthday at Lagniappe for about $75 out the door, and it was a damn fine meal.
