What may well be seen as one of the best television programmes of the year aired here on Sunday night.  Julie Walters gave a compelling and convincing portrait of a woman racing against time.

I'd have watched it even if it didn't have Julie in it, but lets face it, she was pretty much perfect in the role.

I read about this in The Independent or Guardian a week or so ago. Sounds like a very compelling piece of TV. Don't know if Mo Mowlam is well enough known over here for it to be shown on PBS here - you never know...

Julie Walters is a magnificent actress, and I have yet to see her in anything bad. I would love to see this but I doubt if it will ever get to this far-flung colony seeing as most won't know who Mo Mowlem is.

I would love to see this telly drama. Love Walters and really respected Mowlam and her achievements.
