From the lovely grounds and house of Marlay Park in County Dublin
The fine Georgian building was bought in 1764 by David de la Touche, first Governor of the Bank of Ireland. He named it after his wife, Elizabeth Marlay.

Sadly no. It was my cousin's husband who did the deed. And he's not in the least as handsome as my hard-hatted hunk.

What a lovely place! Thanks for sharing. But the peacocks; what horrible noises they make! Perhaps that's another parallel with a few rock stars... *g*
