Unfortunately you've summed up the state of the morning TV broadcasts in the USA as well. Here we have the added 'joy' of the talking heads wading into the sea of humanity outside of the studio, microphone in hand, to speak to a random fan and make an inane comment. Of course the crowd shrieks in joy at their own self-importance.
Oh yes, I remember seeing the crowds on the Today show. As if they weren't already pumped up, the hyperactive weatherman raised the annoyance factor to stratospheric levels.
Mmm... Breakfast TV. I haven't seen it since I was a teeneager or, wait, when I lived in the UK! But I watched BBC because, you know, they teach you in school you should speak English like them!
