Last night I learned of the existence of pea-crabs. Wee-tiny white crustaceans what live more-or-less symbiotically with mussels, oysters, &tc. They sneak into their shells while they're chillin' out and pick up the extra foodstuffs around the edges.
...don't rightly know. Given they are about the size of my pinkyfinger nail, and soft-carapaced, I imagine the clams and the garlic and basil sorta drown them out palate-wise.
