Oh, and I really love HP. I consider it brain candy, but I enjoy the story enough to reread the books from time to time. You just have different tastes. :)

Hi, I saw your application in adopt_a_mom and wanted to see if I could help. How are things going?

Going slowly. Still having to use a formula supplement and the avenues I've tried (aside from lots and lots of water) haven't added to the milk supply. But other than having to give her about 7-8oz of formula a day, going okay. I'm thinking of talking to her pediatrician at her 2 month checkup to see if we can try to ease her off the Nutramigen to something like Gentlease instead... still easier to digest than regular formula or soy, but not as expensive as the hypoallergenic stuff. Let's see what we can do here....

How many tablets of Fenugreek were you taking? What brand was it? Some brands I have found work better than others. Have you considered Blessed Thistle or Alfala supplememnts?

A woman named Bicrim (she is a mentor and on my FL) is also hypoplastic (sp?) and she may have some additional ideas. I am taking Dom and it definitely worked for us but, I had a different set of issues. Any BM she gets is better than none... obviously we would all like to see her off formula but, not at the expense of her health or yours. Let me know what I can do!
