[>Laugh and watch the sunset with her.]
[He laughs and accepts said chips, but doesn't eat them yet. Somehow the goddamn sunset's more tolerable than flowers, so he doesn't mind watching said sunset. Hermes is waiting more for the purples than the current reds, golds and oranges. He speaks a little faster than usual, his gestures are quicker, jerkier. Oh yes. There is indeed something bothering him.]
I saw a woman walk into a pool while texting. Has connection really come down to that?
[>Wait 'til you see Plurk!] [>It's sad, really.] [>Serves her right.] [>Who cares about ~connection~?]
I find one of its only positives to be the mockery resulting. Also heard the economy's in shambles. Sumerians would compose epics of it - musicians made more in their day than practiced businesspeople now.
[>Don't complain to me!] [>But you run it.] [>Watch the sunset, Hermes.] [>I don't blame you for being upset.]
[Hermes still is. But at her words he smiles - he's actually been thinking of trying skiing! Hell, he'd probably start an avalanche and try out-ski it for fun. ...They'd be magical skis, okay?]
Then I ride it down. Why the concern?
[>You're such a baby.] [>I don't want to lose you!] [>The world needs you!] [>Um...]

Oh would it be that eternity stood shoulders' thread acute to those whose time launched straight and waning.
[>Invite Hermes to watch.]
[>Demand Hermes stop confounding.]

[ Ilsa eyerolls ] It's going to be one of those nights, hm? Here, have some chips. Sounds like somebody's in a mood.

[ Ilsa shakes her head. ] Sad, isn't it? People want to have recognition from their peers and still keep their distance.
[ She watches the sunset, frowning. ]
What's wrong?

Interesting that You'd be against a messaging service... unless this is competition?

It erodes attention. Probably retention and memory by result. The plasticity of the brain's a detriment there...
[Sad frown. He finally eats one of the chips. Blue corn.]

This is highly...unusual for me.

Even the steadiest of moods can be shifted by the slightest events. And it's often the smallest things that lead to the greatest changes.
