Well, poop. Got the biopsy back, and it's not optimal.

So glad to hear you have a "plan" but be sure you talk to a cancer counciler if you need to. It can be scary regardless.

BIG HUGS!

You are one of my favorite people on-line. Maybe one little prayer that the iodine isn't too rough. :)

Thanks for the hugs -- they mean so much! I have several people to talk to; my favorite cousin went through the exact same thing back in January, and he's shepherding me through all the doctor and diagnosis stuff. Thanks for the good prayers:-)

BTW, looks like something for Sue might be getting going over on CDS -- I'll keep you posted.

Hugs, sweetie! And really good chocolate. Take care of yourself and get well soon! Laughter is the best medicine, so be sure to read lots of good funny slash while you're recovering.

BTW, I only just noticed that you'd friended me, so I friended you back. Sorry I didn't notice sooner!

Thanks for the hugs, Theda. My mom got me a delicious, big bar of chocolate with almonds, and it's slowly disappearing:-)

I've been doing a lot of reading, mainly Charlaine Harris' 'Southern Vampire' series. It's a hoot, and much of the action takes place in the town where I live. In fact, my across-the-street neighbor owns the strip mall where the vampire bar 'Fangtasia' is fictionally located. I'm going to show him the passage as soon as I can get out of the house -- I know he'll get a kick out of it.

Looking forward to getting caught up on 'Kitten Poker' too!

Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry you've had to go through such a scary thing. But very happy to hear you're going to be okay. I never would have guessed you to have hypothyroidism, you're so slim and perky! Your meds must work well. When will your treatment be? I hope you won't be too tired from it, but please let others do for you while you get your strength back. I know you're an independent type person, but you'll get well faster if you rest while you heal. (plus I want you in top form by Halloween, when we take London by storm!)

love, hugs and prayers,
Karen

Thanks, Karen, I really appreciate the kind thoughts. I actually don't feel too bad, just tired, but right now I'm radioactive so I have to stay away from everyone for a few days, and I'm bored, bored, bored. Who'd have thought unlimited tv, reading, computer, and chocolate would ever get tiresome! But I'm soooo ready to start taking my synthroid (should be Tuesday) and getting back to my normal routine.

Hugs, and talk to you soon--

Elizabeth
