Oho, The Secret , an inspirational book - I know the one you mean! Hehehe. I've had people tell me quite intensely, "Read it, it'll change your life!" which usually is a garauntee of a pile of pap and recycled homilies. Tell me it it turns out to actually be a mystical experience for you.
Hubby and I had a quick and dirty flick through it to kill ten minutes waiting for dinner - basically it seems to boil down to "think positive". Affirmations by any other name, only wibbling on about it as this Great Big Mystical Experience of beaming "frequencies" into the cap-u Universe and Getting What You Want. (If good things happen, it's YOU!!!! eleventy. So therefore if bad things happen, it's your fault obvs and nothing to do with all that icky socio-economics). It must be true, they refer to Quantum! ;P
Lots of capitals, exclamation marks and quotes from people one's never heard of, some of which are (presumably unintentionally) very funny indeed. I am never going to be able to answer queries about it with a straight face.
