It wasn't too often lately that he found himself (for all rights) rather alone at the theatre, considering everything that was going on. For all he knew, Geoffrey was lurking somewhere -- he just wasn't sure where, if he was.

There was, however, the sound of the door to the theatre opening and closing. It was never locked, just because there was nothing to steal inside really, but Geoffrey usually kept it closed just to give himself something of a 'home'.

"Father?" he ventured quietly as he stepped in.

He glanced up from the pillows with a slight blink and a dozy smile.

"Yes?" Once he saw that it was Liir, he pushed himself up to a sitting position and tossed his legs off the end of the stage.

Liir came around, looking a bit nervous and a bit more well groomed than usual. That wasn't to say that he wasn't normally well groomed, but it was obvious enough that he'd put some effort into looking his best today.

"I, um... I brought breakfast. Or brunch, now."

And he held out the bag like a shield.

At that he pushed off the stage and toward Liir, curious.

Being around the boy's mother for so long had made him at least ... perceptive to people's feelings even if they didn't speak about them outright. He furrowed his brows.

"Have I done something horribly wrong?" He took the bag, though, and headed toward a spot where they could sit and eat.
