my Ethnic Studies professor once said that for the most part, 80% of the people on Earth have common sense and know how to follow rules, but sadly, there's another 20% who just ruins things for everybody. that one fan that streamed my subbed video on YT, i didn't want to name her, but this is the video that she uploaded and she won't listen to me

Do you have any friends that speak Thai? It seems that's her native language. Maybe if you could get someone to explain it to her in Thai, she'd get the message?
Ugh I'm sorry this is happening. I commented on the video, asking her to take it down.

i don't know anyone that speaks Thai...i'll try asking someone in the jump_fansub team cuz i think there's someone who can speak Thai there, but i'm not sure...but i hope with that many people telling her that she will listen.

that's exactly why i'm not gonna let it go. i was just gonna leave it there and wait until JE comes across it for it's removal cuz it's no big deal, but now she has linked it to our community, so i wasn't going to leave it if she put a threat to our fandom.

well, what do i report it for? the content isn't really mine, and i don't want JE to find out about it. i tried to flag it and i can't claim copyrights because it's really copyrighted to JE and Pony Canyon.

flag as "other legal claim" our purpose is to make YT took down the vid, since the uploader didnt want to del the vid...this is the same issues like the NNK comm had face before..when there are many ppl report like that, TY will take down the vid..

Woah, this is indeed serious, bcs those JE people could be stingy over things like this. I'm surprised she still not delete it after so mush comments about the danger and all. Ban from lj communities are one thing, that should do, but the link to ur journal is another thing.

Perhaps, " no repost, no reupload" warning should be include with all the reasons next time. Some people wouldn't understand with simple dos and don'ts..

I hope she'll delete it soon..

honestly, i think 80% is still a pretty big number for people with common sense because i see less *shot* XDD but i'm a pessimist.

and i really don't understand why she won't take it down when a whole bunch of people are asking her to on most of the comments (- -;;;)

i don't know why she didn't take it down when i first asked her to. i mean, if someone asks you take their work off your page, then you would do that right? =.= i've told her that even though she did credit me, i don't want my subs on there and yet she doesn't respect that. the chances of us getting in trouble isn't exactly huge, but i really don't wanna risk it because LJ is a source of fandom for many international fans. i think maybe English isn't her native language since she's apparently from Thailand, but i'm pretty sure she understood what i meant when i said "remove the video from your channel." *head desk* i want to sub more things too, but i realized i won't really be able to share it in bigger communities cuz i've closed off membership for now.

i don't think it's a matter of language because you're not the only person telling her to take the video off. it seems more like she's trying to be popular and get people to like the channel, but she totally missing the point (- -#)
