Sometimes in life you have to remind yourself why you don't hang out and drink in the North Shore. The main reason being, it's the North fucking Shore. It's the sound really, that horrible fucking sound. It's not the Queen's English, it's probably not even English at this point. It's it own country with a national language that no one ever asked

Those are my people you're talking about. And while I myself will never live there again, they have been there since 1636. Deep roots make it hard to leave.

The accent, I will agree, is atrocious. But I like to think I hid it well... except when drunk or tired... which of course is most of the time so maybe not.

As for your accent, I rarely noticed it. But that could have been because I was drunk or tired most of the time as well.
